With a law degree from the University of Milan and an LL.M. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Umberto brings to Verspoor Waalkes PC a distinctive blend of civil law expertise and U.S. legal training, offering the firm a unique approach to legal challenges.
While studying in California, Umberto worked as a summer law clerk for an international law firm. After passing the Michigan Bar Exam in 2024, he dedicated his practice to family law. He is currently part of the firm’s family law group and provides support with legal research, drafting, and preparation for trials and hearings. Before focusing on family law, Umberto gained valuable experience across other practice areas, including entertainment, workers’ compensation, and real estate law.
Outside of the office, Umberto is a devoted husband and father of two young children. He enjoys traveling with his family, watching Formula 1, and cheering for his favorite Italian soccer team.
